QueerTech, a Montreal-based nonprofit that actively seeks to break down the barriers in the tech space and create opportunities for Queer people to thrive, is pleased to announce their first national virtual careers fair, part of its program Qareers. Keeping to the five pillars that uphold their mission, QueerTech promotes a premise of "Queering the tech ecosystem" by supporting and empowering its members, breaking down barriers, creating safe spaces, connecting the community, and ultimately empowering its members to thrive as openly queer individuals.
In light of the current pandemic, Qareers will be completely virtual and held on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 from 1pm to 5pm Eastern Time via a platform called Brella.io.
